Litigating Human Rights in African Institutions: Law, Procedures and Practice

Africa boasts itself of having three Human Rights Institutions – the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child and the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights. The three institutions are primarily charged with a majorfunction of promoting and protecting human and peoples’ rights, including child rights, at the continental level.
