Alternative Dispute Resolution: A Ugandan Court Experience

This book contains re-edited work I presented at various fora as my personal re? ections on the subject of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). In many ways, the work also chart my professional journey both as a lawyer and subsequently as a Judge in Uganda. Coming out of undergraduate law school, my sense of dispute resolution was quite narrowly focused around adjudication. Our training at law school sought to establish what legal rights existed and how they could be enforced in a court of law.
