Policing in Eastern Africa

This book fills a large void in teaching materials for policing and law enforcement courses in higher education institutions, where Criminology and Security Studies/Management is quickly gaining recognition as an academic discipline. The book begins by providing an overview of the context of East African policing, highlighting policing in Rwanda, Uganda, and Tanzania. It then systematically traces the history of policing and law enforcement in Kenya.
